Hendry is part of the 20th Judicial Circuit — the same circuit we work in for Charlotte, Lee, and Collier. Probate filings split between the LaBelle courthouse (the seat) and the Clewiston satellite location for Lake Okeechobee–side residents.

The local economy and culture make Hendry distinct: U.S. Sugar Corporation is headquartered in Clewiston and remains a major employer; the Caloosahatchee River runs through LaBelle; cattle ranches and citrus groves dominate the rural areas. Estate work here often involves agricultural land, mobile homes, and modest-value family homes — summary administration is the dominant path, and disposition without administration shows up regularly for very small estates.

Mobile-home estates and Lake Okeechobee–adjacent properties. Fish camps, RV parks, and mobile-home communities ring the lake; titling and transfer rules differ from standard residential property.
