How Probate.Help pages are written

Probate.Help publishes plain-English information about Florida probate, wills and trusts. This page states who writes it, how it is checked, and how to report an error.

Last updated October 15, 2026

Who publishes this site

Probate.Help is published by Rachel Schadt Law in Sarasota, Florida.

Statute pages, guides, blog posts and Probate Archive pages are credited to the Probate.Help editorial team. A named attorney appears as author or reviewer only on a page that attorney wrote or reviewed.

How pages are drafted

Pages are drafted with the help of AI writing tools and then edited by the editorial team.

Each statute page summarizes one Florida Statute or Florida Probate Rule. The summary is checked against the official text published online by the Florida Legislature, and the page links to that official text and names the edition it was checked against.

Probate Archive pages summarize court records and published reporting about well-known estates. Each case page lists its sources.

Attorney review

A page that an attorney has reviewed shows a Reviewed by line with the attorney's name, Florida Bar number and the review date.

A page without that line has not been reviewed by an attorney. Use it as general information and confirm the current statute text before relying on it.

Dates

Guides and blog posts show the date the content last changed. When Florida law changes, the affected pages are updated and the date changes with them.

Statute pages name the edition of the Florida Statutes or Florida Probate Rules the summary was checked against.

Corrections

To report an error, email [email protected] with the page address and what is wrong. Confirmed errors are corrected on the page, and the page date is updated.

Not legal advice

Information on this site is general and educational. Reading it does not create an attorney-client relationship. Florida probate outcomes depend on the facts of each estate.
